Unless he doesn't paint them. If you buy c/f parts, why would you paint them?

Skusssssh - I haven't seen anyone make c/f side skirts. I've seen VIS make the Drift bumper in c/f. I think the website you are looking for is www.topshopheadliners.com

Most CF body pieces come in a rough unfinished state....and would have to be painted. The purpose of CF is to lose weight.....not to look cool.

Same reason you paint fiberglass and metal ones, they look like shit otherwise.

From more than 10ft away it will look like black or dark grey sideskits. Sweet. It will look like lots of cars with mismatched body panels here in Detroit.

Yeah, leave 'em unpainted though. Noone will ever look at your car and point and laugh thinking it looks dumb with them or anything.

well i would like to thank most of you for your worthless replies. however i care wheather or not its c/f and i will not paint it i among many other seem to think that lets say a red car " like the one i own" would look great with a set of clean finished c/f side skirts. as well as being flanked buy some fresh OEM style c/f finders. oh and not to mention the c/f hood. wow lets look at this a red car with c/f hood, finders and side skirts, now thats clean not to mention unlike anyother eclipse that i have seen anywhere not to mention where i am. see thats the beauty of this "hobby" its not about making you people happy its all about personal style and at the absolute best catching the eye of that one person that thinks my car, me mister nobody's car is so cool that they want to do something like it. thats why i asked you guys / girls if you knew of some where that does this. thanks again for your great thoughts for it is the reason i do what i do

Well Stated!! :thumb: :dsm:

Might as well go with CF mirrors, CF front bumper, CF rear bumper, and CF brake light center section, too. Then the only metal parts will be the roof, door panels, and rear quarter panels.

It's gonna look the same painted no matter what it's made of.

I think you need to read the post before posting your opinion, he never said anything about painting anything. Though I agree with you, my personal preference and yours mean nothing when it comes to HIS car. If he wants c/f and asking for help finding it, then lets help him if we can. When he asks our opinions, then chime in. Thats the decent thing to do. :|
