ninjai can you get a picture of what you mean by the skateboard tape. Does it not rip off easily from scraping or what?

He's talking about GripTape which is used on the top of the board for traction.

Yes thats what I am talking about, I am getting a new bumper so ill try to get some pics. The bumper is on its way should not be to long. I am going to try and start a thread on my rebuild also But I have been so busy with the kid and stuff. You know how things in life can be

I know what the grip tape was he was refering too I was just simply wondering if it is very noticable and if it works that well on the road. Like does it come off easy when you scrap on something? I would be more than happy to slap some grip tape on the bottom of my bumper if I knew it wouldnt look like ass and hang off it I scraped it.

Just have to keep track of the condition of the tape. I used to check mine if I hit bottom or when I would go out to start my car I would just glance to see if it was hanging. Like all things it can look good or like crap depending on how much time you take put it on

i think if someone put more than 10 seconds into it we would have a much better idea. mspaint is my chopper, but lets find someone who uses something...more... designed for the job lets say.

I saw a pic of your car in the gallery like a month ago and have been searching for it ever since. I was going to ask if you don't mind me taking your design... but... since everyone else is doing it i guess it's all good. . The only thing i might do a little different.... I'm probably going to make the fog light area go out farther. And i'm getting double 5-spoke rims. can anyone say ferrari modena??? I saw a GSX with double 5-spoke rims and no spoiler. At first i thought it WAS a Ferrari. (i only saw it from the side. Plus the rims are EXACTLY like the Ferrari double 5-spoke stock rims) Now with this paint job (and extended fog light part) i'll have the 1st "Ferrari Swap" for a 2G!

Hmmm... Maybe if the "Ferrari Swap" turns out good, we should put a patent on the design and sell the rims and paint stencil in a kit or something... just an idea though. Someone with more time, money, and motivation than me should work on the back end.

Looks great, one of the best Dsm's I've seen, and I don't like 2gs. I vote it go on the calender next year. Too bad you have to have the license plate on there, take it off to submit some pics for the calender. Great camera work!
