Buzzing, overheating, stalling NEED HELP!

Well, this my latest chapter of trying to solve my problem with my car. I had a problem with the car overheating, making a loud buzzing sound that got louder with the rpms, and stalling out when coming to a stop. It also smelling very bad when it starts to make a lot of noise. I discovered my alternator was seized up, and we replaced it. The problem is not solved though, the car is doing the exact same thing. It seems as though the noise is coming from the top of the engine. Could it be a camshaft bearing or something?

Could be. Try holding a long screwdriver against it to your ear and listen (also the water pump and pulleys). Also are all your accessory pulleys lined up square so the belts are running true?

The water pump and belts seem fine. Haven't checked pulleys to be square, but I'm pretty sure they are, we just changed the accessory belt. The fans are working, and the antifreeze is moving. The car seems to run alright when it's cold, but as it warms up and is driven for a minute, the noise starts. The warmer it gets, the more noise it makes, and vice versa. I just drove it up to the center of town and back and it stalled out like 3 or 4 times. It was getting really loud too. Sounds like a chainsaw . It gets louder with the rpms. I don't understand why it's overheating.
