i found a m100 and a m105 palm pilot on ebay? anysuggestions on which one i should buy? also they say they come with a hotsync cable. if i purchase the pocketlogger software for my 95 talon, is that all i need to tune, or is there other things i need?

i ordered a m100 earlier and the obd2 software. hopefully its all gravy when i get it!...here's a good q tho. my entire dash is out right now. using the safc2 and pocketlogger, will i be able to tune the car without having a working tachometer. i know this is kinda dumb but i don't know the full capabilities of the 2 electronics, plus these dame electrical repair shops can't get to my car yet.
