Buying a Tuner for DSM

Hey guys. I have a 1992 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. I have recently done some mods to it but I am in need of a good tuner and data logger. I have heard of the palm ones and the PC ones. I searched the site but all the links i could come across for tuners was from like 2006. I would like something good but not too expensive, and I would prefer a laptop one so I could just get the software and cables instead of having to purchase a palm as well. Thanks for you help.

You should do a search for dsmlink. It has everything you listed you needed. It's what more than half of the people on this forum use.

It seems that the vast majority use ECMlink (formerly DSMlink). the V3 lite version can be found here.

Or...tuner pro and an ostrich box. The box is like 175.00 and tuner pro is free or you can donate.

I prefer DSMLink v3. It's what I started with and you would not need the full as you probably won't be using those options anyway. As stated there are many different options but I have never been unsatisfied with link.

Palms are pretty dated... Just use a PC.

Depends on what you are using for a EMS

But this will work to log for about anything 1g and is free just need to buy/make a cable.

Maybe it's because I've watched both East of Eden and Django Unchained within the last week, but the title of this thread evoked the image of Magnus wearing only a red codpiece and a studded black dog-collar with leash. I'm very unhappy about this.
