That's cheap, I'd be it in a heartbeat.. Although, Does the owner of the car not know what they are talking about? I would check the car out in person before anything.... A 6bolt 94' engine? 6bolt engines ended some time in 92'.

Ive been talking to the owner alot, he lives 3 hours away, we sorting things out but I am DEFINATLY buying it.
Its an awsome platform to start with, I wanted to ask you guys what you thought I shoudl do to it first? Maintinance wise, not performance.

I paid 2700 for a 97 gst that had a bad engine. So I say go for it. The one I got was much cleaner, but that one just needs a little tlc, and you will get to know the car and work on it some from the get go!

The interior on this car is FLAWLESS. I mean it looks brand new. And I love to work on cars so that will be fun, just need to know a maintinance path, what do you guys suggest I do first and then after that?

A through seafoaming, new oil, new spark plugs, flush intercooler and radiator, inspect belts (like he said), differential fluid, tranny fluid, ect. Thats even more of a start.

hmm, jsut something to point out. The guy doesn't seem like a motor head. If I were you I would take a logger up there and see what conditions the car has been running under. And as stated above the 94 6bolt is a little shady. I would look at it in person before you say you are DEFINATLY buying it.

Either way, For the price of the car, You can't go wrong. I paid 5,000$ for a 95' with no rims, a blown turbo, blown headgasket, and a warped head, Bad alignment etc etc etc........

Im going to do some negotiating so we will see how much I can get it for. Im waiting on some more pics comming tonight, and Ill go from there. Ill post them around 9-10PM tonight.

I would definitely check the bolts that are in the chassis and stuff. I would also check for body rust and rust on the frame. Other than the rust I think it just needs a little tlc.

Actually that doesn't look that bad for rust, the car comes from the rust belt so it is going to have surface rust on just about everything that is steel/iron.

For $2700 that isnt a bad deal, if it was local I would jump on it for a DD car.
