Buy Cyclone motor or rebuild?

Well.. the rings laid down in my #3 cyl. time for a rebuild, or will i come out better just buying a cyclone motor from overseas.. The average cost to rebuild around here is about 1000.00, but there is only 1 person that is knowledgeable about our engines.. If i order from overseas, i can just drop it in.. Can anyone come up with a better idea.. Whats a good price to pay for a jdm motor?

Call SBR or Buschur. Unless you can get a great deal on an overseas engine, they would be your best bet.

I would rebuild anyday over buying an engine that you have NO clue as to what you are getting and how it was treated, or should I say abused.
