Hey all -
I'm wondering if this problem is unique to me, or everyone who has a Buschur Upper IC pipe & ABS. Anyhow, a few weeks ago I had to reconnect my BOV recirc tube and because of the way that the UICP mounts the BOV almost directly into the ABS unit I could barely fit the tube in - I actually had to scrape the tube by the ABS unit to make it fit.
The recirc tube was already old and a little dried out, and a week later I found that the tube had actually torn open from the stress of being so close to the ABS - this seems like a design flaw in the UICP - or is something wrong with my setup? I'm having a bi*** of a time trying to find a replacement for the recirc tube - no one sells rubber tubing with an inner diameter of 1 1/8" - so I've had to go with some white plastic accordian tubing I found at Lowes - but I'm having trouble making it fit because of the ABS being in the way.
Can anyone else out there verify these clearence issues? (Image attached to show how close they are)
