I am getting a full 3 inch buschur racing exhaust for my car tomorow. And im a little curious how you all like yours? Does it sound good? Im really hoping its got a deep tone but if not owell i dont care that much id rather have the power gains then the sound. Also the guy im getting it from dont have a camera and im driving up to pick it up does the fwd style route under the axle int he back? Just curious.... And if it does will i have clearence issues being that im lowered 2 inches.....?

BR exhausts are good. Mine was rather quiet, but I think that's because I also had a high flow cat installed as well. You're not going to have any problems with them.

I have the 3inch Buschur as well w/ the magnaflow muffler. I had to cut and reweld one of the brackets on there to get it to work. For some reason I had a heck of a time getting it to fit up right, but once I got it on there it sounds great and you can feel an immediate difference. The bad thing is, after using a datalogger really quick it appears that my maf and injectors are nearly maxed out. That could be due to boost creep now as well.

I have a Buschur 3" turbo back with no cat. It sounds awesome, a little loud but not bad. I didn't have any fitment issues at all. The only thing I don't like about it is something any 3" turbo back would do, boost creep. Before I put it on I was at 15 psi, after I put it on it went to 24.

port the o2 housing and turbo like you should and youlll be perfectly fine ;)

I have a Buschur tubular o2 housing and ported the inlet on the turbo. But thats not the point, because I planned on using an external waste gate anyway. Guess I should have mentioned that I put on an external waste gate with my sbr manifold to cure the creep.

I've been trying to get a solid answer from research. Does a turbo back 3 inch exhaust cause boost creep for sure garenteed 100% or no? Does just porting the o2 housing do the fix or do you HAVE to port the turbo too? I'm going to keep on reading anyways...

thanks.

Having no cat is almost guarenteed on a mitsu turbine housing. They are designed very poorly. So yes porting the o2 will help and you will also have to port the turbo. Either that or just go exxternal wich will fix it 100%. :thumb:

having no cat is the problem? or having a cat? when I make the exhaust mine will NOT have a cat.

I'll have to read up on external WGs. I wonder if i can fix my 2nd gen exhaust manifold to work with one. (drill a hole, weld a pipe etc).

:thumb: yes you can drill a hole in the 2g manni. many have done this. let a shop do it tho. the manni has to be heated to a certain temp then welded to or else the welds wont hold for crap.

it wouldn't be hard to preheat it with a gas torch. honestly i'd rather just port the o2 housing and be done with it. it'd be much easier and less expensive. i hope you enjoy your exhaust system and good luck :thumb:

PM oldman he will walk you thru how to port away boost creep. He helped me with mine, all i have left to do is the o2 housing.....

maybe if i send him my stuff :p anyways thanks for the help, this is why i love the DSM community. i'll pm him.

I have it on my car, my only complaint is that i dont have a flex section on my dp. I guess it was one of the first versions, or the "race" version of there dp. The guy i got it from said it was on one of buschurs cars. Oh well, im welding in a flex soon anyways.

Yes its deep, and yes it sounds great!

I have it on my car now, One hanger will not line up at all. I will have to bend it some to get it to work properly. It works like a champ and sounds awesome to. I love to hear the turbo spooling down thru the exhaust that is the coolest thing i have ever heard.
