Ok I have a 95 eclipse 420a turboed...while driving the car evry so often i smell burnt oil...the car doesnt smoke at all it runs fine and ive checked all under the hood...I cant find a single leak....ive let it sit and still i find nothing on the ground...is there something i'm missing here???

The temps are fine and Im running very low boost right now ....honestly I baby this car around....Ill run it through a compression test tho...

I would say you could have an oil leak getting on the exhaust somewhere. It could be the valve cover leaking down on the exhaust manifold, or it could be the oil pan leaking on the exhaust on down somewhere, or it could be something else.:idontknow: Just because you don't have a leak on the ground doesn't mean you can't have a leak that is just getting on the exhaust and getting burned off. You need to jack up the car (using jack stands of course) and take a really good look around. Good luck! :)

Could be anything.. you havent supplied us with any good info.. You dont visably see oil smoke? Then its ###### going on in the engine. Are you running a little breather filter off your VC? pcv setup? when do you smell it.. Idle, driving, etc..So far everythings pointing to Internal. Have you checked the levels to see how fast your loosing oil?

It doesnt smoke, yes their is a breather filter on the VC and i check the oil every other day and im not losing oil....atleast not enough i can tell. Also I only smell it when Im driving and its not all the time either ....the smell comes and goes.
