Bulb replacements

I am having problems with led bulbs and just regular replacement bulbs as well. I bought replacement bulbs from advance, the #74. I put them in and they do not work. I bought 10 led's from superbright led's, the #74 and they do not work as well. Can some one tell me what's wrong? I took a bulb from another slot and it lit up.
I used the guides for the replacement #'s and they fit in the sockets just fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am gonna try the dealership next I guess depending on what responses I get. Thank you very much in advance.

Dont know what the number 74 is for... but 1156 tail light bulbs, 1157 blinker bulbs... 194 side bumper bulbs.

As far as LED... they have to be built right to work, if the wires are backwards how the company made it... then they wont work. LED's can only work one way unlike halogen bulbs.

How about the regular bulbs? I have purchased new ones from the store and they don't work in my cluster either..
I am sorry that I forgot to mention that the bulbs arefor my Gauge Cluster.

What bulbs are you replacing? If you are replacing the cluster bulb with #74 from superbright leds and they don't light up one way, turn them around and they will light up. If they don't fit, you will need to dremel out the extra plastic from under the cluster. I have red leds from superbright leds in my cluster with all red bulbs and they work and fit fine (after I dremeled it out).

Maybe you have a bad connection. slap some foil on the back of the cluster and put it back in to see if it was a bad connection.

LEDs are directional, try reversing them in the socket.
