alright so i drove my friends boosted 240 hatch and have decided i NEED boost :thumb: but i wanna build my motor to support it. so far on my list i have:

crower stage 2 cams (should i get adj. cam gears or can i run stocks?)
eagle rods
crower/wiesco pistons (what compression is best for running boost?)

and thats really about it. i only plan on running about 10 pounds of boost with a hahn stage 2 kit. what else should i look into to have a reliable 420 that wont leave me stranded after dropping the turbo in?

suggestions are definitely good!

get a good intake manifold and exhaust, make sure when you get your cams call and talk to whoever you get them from and get the best size for what your doing to the car. to big and the car will run like trash, get it tuned by somebody that knows what there doing. if you just throw the kit on it really wont do to much because your ecu will need to be tuned for the extra air the turbo will be pulling in. also a good compression ratio would be about 8.5:1. when you wanna start making real power you wanna do a stroke kit, new rods and pistons and have it all done by a qualified machine shop.

LOL That response sounds like someone that knows not much on the subject. If all you want is 10psi, just get the stage two kit from hahn and run it at 8psi. Atleast if the engine is in good shape, otherwise build the bottom end. Compression is all up to you, the tune makes the difference. But for ease and less tuning go with a lower compression. The fuel system is what will make or break your engine. Do some research here and 2gnt.com, all the info is here and there.
