Building Long rod 2.0

I am finally going to build my motor this winter. I have one question I will be using Manley 156mm h beam rods with most likely a wiesco stroker piston. I know this will lower my compression below the advertised comp ratio on the piston. This is a 90% of time e85 car. Should I try to run. A 10:1 piston or any thoughts on Similar builds? I figure a 10:1 in my car will be low 9s on compression. I also see Manley makes a piston for a Dsm with a 88mm crank and 156mm rod should I just run that piston instead of a stroker piston?

Because of the longer stroke I would think any piston would lose compression. so going with 8.5:1 piston would still be closer to 7.5:1 which is way to low. so unless they have higher compressions available not on the site go with the stoker 10:1 or even a 10.5:1. But seeing no one else offers off the shelf 88mm crank 156mm rod pistons. I suggest calling manely first to find out if it comes in higher compression and to also find out if they equate the longer rod to calculate that piston compression.

When using a stock (or stock stroke) crank, the pin height changes in the piston, not the dish volume. To use a 156mm rod and a stroker piston with the stock crank, you'll need a piston with the wrist pin moved 6mm up from stock location (aka stroker piston), and to get the 9:1 or higher compression ratio your looking for, you'll need a piston with a dish volume no less then (negative) - 5cc. Consider your intended use and power level when considering wrist pin diameter and also bore size.
