building 3" turboback with EVO III O2

I am running an Evo III manifold, turbo and O2 housing and i know the O2 housig sits a little different than other O2 housings. I dont want to have to use a 2.5" to 3" right from the O2 housing. want a true 3" all the way back. the O2 outlet is 2.5 but if i order the Evo III downpipe flange will i be able to get away with welding a 3" pipe to the flange or will it overhang the edges? if i can't use that then can somebody direct me to where to get a flange that will work? this stock downpipe is killing my new turbo horrible spoolup cause of the 2.5 O2 housing meeting the 2.25 downpipe

I bought mine from Auto Zone it is a 2.5" flange with part of an exhaust tube on it, cut the pipe and weld the flange to your 3" pipe, although before warned the the fit is very tight, so use caution when welding it together.
