okay well i think my lack of exhaust is really hurting me so i decided i want to upgrade it. Now i want a full 3" exhaust with NO cat (i live in canada and no inspections :) ) now i guess ebay would probably be the cheapest route but im not sure what is good off there as the prices range from 150-600 dollars for a cat back and 60- 200 for a downpipe. now i think iv decided on a megan racing downpipe and either the megan racing catback or the other system if it is good.

also there are lots of these greddy hks whatever knockoffs but they all say made by tsudo just wondering how good they are

heres a link for example
EBAY LINK

Hell dude, they are probably all made at the same foundries anyways over there in japan. I wouldn't think the quality is too much off of the "name brands" your paying for the name on most of them. I have a friend that has a ebay set up and its just as good as mine. I wish I had saved the money.

stop being a cheapass and don't buy that eBay garbage. chances are you will be spending more money modifying that thing just to make it fit into your car.

IF you insist on going through eBay, I would buy nothing short of megan racing.

Also, search around your area with a muffler shop that has a mandrel bender. they can probably make you an entire turboback for less than 400

exhaust is ###### one of the most important part of your car especially if you have turbo because you want all those fumes too get out asap... Plus it gives your car that good noise if i were just spent like $500 on a good exhaust because it will be worth it @ the end :thumb:

okay so i ended up getting a megan racing catback and downpipe. now i just want to make confirm that that dowpipe is one that eliminates the cat conv???? also what do most people do with the 2g o2 housing as i imagine that its a bit of a restriction.

I got an entire 3" turboback (They even installed my Megan Downpipe) with Magnaflow muffler for about $200 from a local muffler shop. 3" Megan Downpipe was about 110 shipped...so alltogether for my full 3" turboback I paid $310.

Go to a muffler shop & have them make it for you.

Piping is piping is piping. I can't see paying $500+ for an exhaust system. That's ridiculous.

okay well i would of loved to have a shop custom make an exhaust for me but i live in a somewhat small town and none of the shops around here have a mandrel bender. ( i work in a exhaust shop) all i really still need to know is that for sure the megan downpipe replaces the cat converter.

The Muffler shop I got mine from didn't have a mandrel bender either. They just measured, figured out what they needed, & had the piping shipped to their shop.
