when just goin along at no accelaration ... with your foot barely in the pedal the car will jerk and while jerking there is a ticking sound coming from behind the radio .... and when the car jerks i get a CEL ... But once u step on the gas CEL goes away and no jerking .
Could this be the o2 sensor:dsm:

Is the car actually dieing when you hear the clicking?
Have the capacitors in the ECU been changed?

The clicking is often the MPI relay switching on and off which kills power to the engine caused by the ECU resetting. But you may be having a different problem.

I had the same problem, several years ago, and it was the TPS. If you had a check engine light, your ECU should have stored an error code. Read the code and see if it doesn't incicate the TPS. You can do this with only a analog voltmeter.

I also had bucking problems caused by the TPS having a dead spot but I didn't have any clicking from under the dash. Ignoring the clicking I wouldn't be surprised if your TPS has gone bad.

Read the stored codes like Curt said and go from there.
