I broke my 3/4 shift fork. Now with my 1990 fwd transmission apart can I replace the 1/2 and 3/4 shift forks with the stock EvoIII ones?

I know TRE offers a better modified evo shift fork but it costs about 85 dollars each when the stock evo ones are $24 for the 1/2 and $27 for the 3/4.

Will the stock evo shift forks work better then the stock aluminum ones they have for this tranny or do i need to buy the modified evo shift forks to work for my transmission?

Here is what TRE says

"We have further improved the EVO III shift forks by replacing the Nylon wear pads with an alloy that can easily handle the task without wearing out. The pads are CNC machined and have 50% more surface area than the plastic pads. We recently changed the design and the Bronze pads are now attached to the fork with special machine screws along with high temp solder. The end result is a strong steel shift fork with ultimate wear properties at a great price."

Hell if you can get them for $24 bucks a piece then send them here and I'll do the CNC machine work for $45.

That way you can get them for $69 bucks, saving you $16 per fork or $32 per set.
