Hey guys. Sorry if I didn't find anything but I did search. I got an HKS BOV from the classifieds, little did I know the vacuum nipple was broken apparently and I do not have the nipple. :notgood: I'm not able to post a picture of it either my apologies.

Anyways, Does anybody know any ways to fix this? Like JB weld I would figure. But I don't have a nipple? Or is there any place to buy the back piece that the nipple is attached to? Any ideas would be helpful. It's not urgent, just don't wanna have my money completely wasted. Thanks. :hellyeah:

Did you take the issue up with the seller?
The seller had a good rating and it had the nipple when he sent it it must've broke off during shipping.

Why not take it apart, drill it to another type of brass fitting (smallest you can find) and use it that way?

I'm considering that now thanks didn't think of that.

Low and behold I didn't know what happened to the nipple and it fell out of my shirt. No idea where the hell it came from. :sneaky: But it's plastic and very very small. So I'm not sure how to get it connected without clogging up the hole for the nipple with super glue.. Ohhhh first world problems.. :D

This has happened to me in the past as we'll . I had to take apart the hks blow off valve and buy a small brass fitting nipple . I had to enlarge the original threaded hole that the nipple was attached to with a small threaded drill bit enlarger . It was a pain because you had to be very precise not to crack the bov . It worked well when done no screwed it in with some Teflon tape installed it on the car ran a boost leak test and no leaks . Thought i share my experience with this issue hopes this helps some .

I would stay away from any plastic and superglue solution that you are considering. It will only brake off again and you will be in the same situation. Go with a new brass nipple any other solution will only lead to future headaches.

Drill out remaining nipple if there is any in the hole. Small piece of bare brake line or any metal tube that will fit. A torch and regular old low temp solder and itll be good to go.
