Broken Bolts on exhaust side of turbo?

I stripped two bolts off my 14b trying to take off the 1g o2 sensor housing, whats the best way to get them out? Anyone know what drill bit i would need because my craftsman drill bits arent working. Im thinking I should just take it to a shop, anyone know how much it would cost to just get two stripped bolts out?

i would take it to a shop...it shouldnt cost too much. I tried taking mine out and i ended up messing up the whole thing

I called up a machine shop just now and they quoted me $89 dollars an hour!? Isnt that a little TOO much?

Use a dremel with a cutoff wheel and cut the head off the bolt. The threads should now be sticking out with the o2 housing off. Spray some liquid wrench on the threads leading to the hole its in. Use a water pump plier(plumbers plier) to turn out the threaded bolt.

ya way too much. go to a local shop and ask theyll say something like 20 a bolt or something. Dont call a big place.

That happend to me. I paid 5 dollars a bolt at a local machine shop. I had 2 bolts done for $10. I would have a hard time paying more then $5 a bolt considering the time it only takes to remove the bolt.

ya if your worried about stripping it or messing it up let a local shop do it. If they mess it up they will usually re-tap it for you.

Are the heads of the bolts stripped? What exactly is stripped? if it's the heads of the bolt just go to a welder and they'll weld a new nut on top of the bolt and you can get it out that way.

Been There , Done That. What i did was just put my turbo in a vice so it wouldnt move and filed some slots in the top of them and removed them with a screw driver.
