brake question

i see aftermarket brake kits, and i know some have bigger rotors, and better caliper

but some i see have stock sized rotors that are just cross drilled or slotted, why couldn't people just make those with a milling machine(or some other precise tool that would cut them) out of stock ones?

You could, I see people selling them on ebay all time.

I wouldn't buy them though.

You have to know how to slot and drill them w/o them cracking in a week.

what if your just drilled them, i don't think that it would provoke cracking, and it would definatly reduce heat. also if you had a real one from a good company to blueprint and drill it identical to that would that work?
