I have an extra brake proportioning valve through my dsm travels an im wondering is there any way to tell if its abs or non-abs. I want to rip my abs out. So i dont want to rip it out just to find i have the wrong valve and have my car to be unsafe and unable to drive.

thanks steve

ps. the valve was already off of the car so thats why I cant tell.

Yes, the non-ABS valve has 2 inputs in the front for lines from the master cylinder, then 4 to the calipers. The ABS valve just has 4. The master lines run to the ABS pump then from there 2 to the front wheels, and 2 to the prop-valve and then back to the rears. (think I got that all right)

If you have ABS you might as well swap over. It's not overly difficult.
