3000gt brakes on GST, gsx brake proportioning valve will work?

So I am going tomorrow to pick up a bunch of wanted parts. Sorry if it's called something else, but i don't no , brake distributer (the thing on the fire wall), will the GSX distributer be ok with 3000gt calipers and mounts. I just don't no if I need it off the 3KGT or will his GSX be ok.

They are going on my GST and I have heard you can/will lock front tires on hard braking without it. Any input would be good, I'm going tomorrow to get some things at real good price and these might be on the list depending on if he has it and if it is needed.

Also they will fit under the 16" rims yea?

PS hoping other guy calls me back about evo8 rims for 200 Fingers crossed also.

It's called the brake proportioning valve. All non ABS 2g's have the same brake bias, so you can retain your GST proportioning valve. I can't comment on the 3kgt upgrade though I'm not familiar with it.

I don't think it will fit 16" rims either. Did you research this swap at all?

Larger brakes dont fit under 16" rims, at least any that i've seen. Brembos, the Cobra brakes. Not sure 100% on the 3kgts, but every car i've seen with a front brake upgrade has 17's.

If they are the gsx or 3kgt n/t dual piston they will, if they are vr4 4 piston I need 17". But hopefully I get these evo8 rims and it won't matter either way.

But reading a lot more I found this thread saying I shuld stay with my porportioning valve.

Thanks for the info, and yea i'v been doing research on it. Not too much about breaking times yet. some threads about how some have had their wheels lock up, and some don't.We shall see.
