Hey all. I have a 96 Eagle Talon AWD. It has been sitting in my garage for the past 6 months with almost no driving. The brakes were pretty decend before, and after taking it for a short drive-they suck. What could have caused this? The pads are in pretty good condition. When I brake the brake pedel would pulsate and the car would vibrate-especially the steering wheel. What should I do to resolve this problem? Thanks.

I was afraid of that... Ok, so Brembo rotors here we come. Any guides on installing these? ROFL

You could take the rotors to be turned and see if they can be re-used.
As far as install:

Remove wheel, and caliper/brakepads and caliper bracket (great easy opportunity to replace/inspect pads),

Yank off the old rotor using hammer, feet, cursing....,

Slide on new shiny rotor (if slotted, double check they are being put on the right direction),

Install new pads if necessary, re-grease guide/lockpins at least, and re-mount calipers and their brackets,

Put on your wheel and tighten lugs.

If you do not know how, or do not have the means to properly raise and support your vehicle......step away slowly and have a friend/father/garage do them for you....

J/K have fun!

Thanks for the links. I don't know how to change rotors or pads... Yet. I've managed to install nitrous and do a few turbo swaps without screwing them up. How hard can this be? And yes, I do have proper tools and jackstands.

First time I did my own brake pads and rotors (both front wheels) it took me like 3 hours (didn't have tools)

If you follow a quick writeup, and do it right, and have your tools ready you can do it in as quick as an hour. Very simple to do.
