i just sold my eclipse rs and am going to buy a gst this week end
i am new to this stuff and this site. i know alot of people probubly ask this but i could never find the answer. i know if i just put a bov on that vents to the atmosphere the car wont run right because the computer is sending the fuel for that little extra air and the engine is not getting the air. what can be done to eliminate this problem? all i realy want is the sound but i dont want to lose any performance. any help will be great. thanks for your time and help.

Quick tip for you, the safcI or safcII can NOT help when venting a bov on the stock maf. Even if it could, you are trying to fix the problem of venting the bov (which wasn't meant to be vented) by changing fuel mixtures; that's not a solution, that's a terrible hack. The SOLUTION would be to not vent the bov.
