Hi. It might sound stupid but do you need an intake in order to put BOV? I'm thinking about buyin a BOV and I want to recirculete it but I don't have an intake yet. Should I wait and put both of them in at the same time or can I put a BOV now and then get a CAI. Will the BOV work well with a stock airbox? Thanks for help:thumb:

It depends what kind of BOV you're thinking about getting. Different BOV's come with different recirculation kits. Which BOV were you thinking about getting and which intakes have you looked at?

^^^^^^^^
oh man i hope not
BOV's are for forced induction (turbo and some supercharged) cars only.

if he is he will benefit more from the 420a section, unless he has the STAR or HAHN kit already on and not updated his profile.

you can also try 2gnt.com for your NON TURBO needs.

no I'm not puting bov on a nt. y brother has a 1.8 T GTI and he just ordered Greddy Type S BOV with a recirculated kit. Should we wait and buy a CAI and put it both at the same time or should we just put a bov with a stock air box?

This is not a Vdub forum. Go there and ask questions about vdub. Vdub not in da house.

Maybe...JUST MAYBE you should ask on VW Vortex then.

We're DSM tuners not VDubTuners.
Please refer to one of the multiple VW forums out there.

Thanks,
