Really need some help/suggestions.
I recently installed Tokico Illuminas and replaced the rear suspension bushings with the Prothane bushings. I also replaced the rear differential bushings with the aluminum/poly ones.
The problem is that when I set the Tokico Illuminas to a soft setting the ride can get really bouncy almost like I'm on a boat. I have no idea what springs were previously installed but I can fit about two fingers between the tires and the body. I'm guessing the problem is with the springs. I don't have much money because of the recent installations, but I'm a little concerned that the shocks might get ruined due to the constant oscillation.
If I set the shocks to a firmer setting it does alleviate the problem, but I feel like I should be able to adjust them to any settings without any problems. The car is a little too low for my tastes so if I could I would change out the springs.
What do you guys think, IS it the springs?
