Bought prothanes but didn't get the new front mount.

I didn't get the new push through mount for the cross-member in the front, i just got the little inserts. Does anyone with the new style have a part # or a place i can order just that mount from. I already have inserts for the front and rear smaller mounts.

Any help would be great, hell if i can even get some delrin or poly and the dimensions, I'll make one on my lathe.

They don't make a full mount for those They only offer those inserts which sucks big time

There was a whole thread about this a little while back, they just started putting a solid mount in the kits for the front x-member from what everyone was saying in that thread.

I'm going to see if i can't find their number and give them a call about getting the new piece.

I heard this awhile ago too about the revision of the front mount. I emailed them and never heard back. I'm also interested in hearing the outcome.

This is what I bought. But it only works for a 1G.

2Gs have lower front inserts, 1Gs have a full new mount in the lower front. Never heard of the 2Gs having a revised lower front mount...

machv used to sell a solid aluminum front lower motor mount, I really wish I would have gotten one. I can't find them anymore. Let me know how you make out too... I have a buddy with a 2g thats gonna need a set soon...

I called Prothane. The front and rear mounts are still inserts, not full replacements.

I did suggest to the guy I talked to that they make all 4 solid mounts. He said he would "pass the suggestion along".

Almost lost track of this thread, but i got the same thing back in email about "only inserts" and the request for a solid replacement would be taken into consideration.

Oh well, i'm happy on it the way it is and i haven't even put the very back inserts in yet. If i need it any stronger i'll just weld plate to it like the post in the tech section shows.
