I'm sure this question has been asked before, please feel free to move if not in the right list.

Has anyone had good experience with mod friendly DSM shop in Boston Area?

Check out www.newengdsm.org

For stuff that's over my head, I take it to Herb Connolly Mitsu dealership out in Framingham...they have a couple of extremely experienced and knowledgable DSMers there.

And in Cambridge I can help you out with easier stuff :D

Check out Reitman Racing www.reitmanracing.com. They don't actually do work on DSM's but they're knowledgeable and they have a mechanic who they're "associated" with who will do work for you. I believe his name is Chris if I remember correctly. Either way they're good people all around and they know DSM's.

tylerk,

Where are you in Cambridge?

I'm actually just in Somerville - 175 Beacon St. Give a call - 617-576-5361 if you can help.

I've got a couple problems - first is my positive battery cable is loose and will not tighten...and the bar to hold the battery in place is gone (don't know where mechanic put it) so the bumpy roads hear knock the cable on and off and its wreaking havoc on the electricals (wipers go on off...headlights no longer turn on....etc...etc). Basically the car is virtually undriveable until I get a new postive clamp, a bar to hold the battery down and some fuses.

I also need a passenger side view mirror so I can get the car inspected, but I cant drive the car right now to a dealership to get one put on because the battery cable keeps coming off. The car is pretty loud (3") so I don't want to drive to Watertown and risk getting hooked with a no inspection ticket or some bull.

Then of course I've got a boost leak which I need to find....

Any help would be appreciated...I have no tools...used to use my old mans when I was up in ME.
