Bose, from the wave radio to..... Suspension systems????

It won't be for aftermarket. The whole front suspension (and brakes) are redesigned to make the system fit. If it makes it to market it will be on a really, really expensive car. Bose was looking for an OEM to help bring material costs down. This was originally an experiment for technology on a nuclear submarine. I think Bose(?) himself kept the project secret within the company so as to not let the bean counters know they were working on a suspension. They did not discuss details. However it must be a "speaker-coil" and magnet which -sucks- energy from road impacts... and uses this energy along with ecu controlled signal-processing and vehicle-dynamics and NVH algorithms to deliver the result.
