boost spike from hell

Well I got on my new Evo manifold which apparently works better than my horribly cracked and leaking stock manifold. In fact it works so much better that in a 2nd gear roll on from 4,000rpm my 20psi boost gauges pegs right to the T in the word "boost" at the bottom of the gauge, before dropping back down to 20psi (mbc set at 15psi). Its nice to not have a leaking manifold but my creep and spikes are out of control. I know I need to port it to fix the creep, but what can I do to cut down on the spike?

Are you running your mbc off of your compressor outlet elbow or your bov line? If your running it off your bov try switching to the elbow and see if it makes a difference..... Also how's the weather where u live? If it got as cold as it did here you might want to turn your mbc down becuse I had mine set at 19 psi and it spiked up to 24 psi because of the cold weather.. Hope I helped a little.
