So I had a suspision that I had a boost leak. Today was seafoam day,
and I used the teck that describes sucking it in through a vacume
hose. All was going well I kept the engine running and sucked the
whole can in. Sure enough thick smoke started coming out of my tail
pipe, and then to my supprize it started coming from my exhaust
manifold area. I couldent see where because the sheet metal covers
were all bolted in place obstructing my view. Once my boost leak test
setup arives I'll pull all that off and will probibly have no problems
finding the source.
No wonder I've been missing out on performance.

A boost leak test won't tell you anything about an exhaust leak, which is what you have.

I figured it might be a worn out exhaust mani seal which I can now see the difference. Same concept tho, leaking pressure. Well I've been looking for a reason to dig into her I figured something like this would come up.

You might want to change the title to "Exhaust leak from hell" then. Just a thought.
