When I accelerate in any gear and reach 6-7psi at around 3000-3300 rpm but then it starts to drop to 2psi the higher the rpms. Is this from a boost leak or do all cars do this? I have a hrc stage 2 kit.

vac is between 15-20 and Im using a turboxs rfl. I tightended all the couplers and the turbo manifold too.

Depending on your location your vac should be at pretty close to 20hg or greater when idling. Check all the hoses off of your intake manifold, make sure they are all clamped down real good ... you may be able to hear a leak at idle if you listen close enough ... sometimes you can get lucky like that ... does your car feel like it loses boost? May also be your gauge if it still feels strong.

I have the same problem with my car. I only drop to about 5/6 psi though. I have checked for for leaks numerous times and can find nothing. I have also talked to several other HRC system owners and they too have this problem. A few of them told me that when they added a boost controller the problem vanished. I haven't tried this yet, but it's worth a shot.

Hey i turboed my car and it doesnt seem to run very well and the vacuum at idle is like just about 11??? Could this be a bad leak or whats going on??

Sounds like a vac leak to me. Check all you connections and make sure they're not leaking. Did you have your timing belt off? Because low vac can also be cause by being out of time.

Hmm ill have to check the vacuum lines. I really dont think there are any lose?? Yea i had my timing belt off but the timing was perfect when i put it back on and the timin now sits right at 5. Accept after it warms up my car does NOT like to idle and usual just dies. If it does happen to idle its ruff and like i said its at like 10 vacuum?? This is really pissing me off!!

I would be almost 100% sure that your timing is of by like 1/2 a tooth. Thats the exact same thing that happend to me the last time I had my belt off. Pull the cam gear viewer cover off and have someone use a breaker bar to turn the crank, I'm sure you'll see that the marks are off. Also if you do this take the plugs out, or you'll have a hell of a time turning the crank. Good luck :thumb:
