Forgive me if this is a dumb question, as I don't know a whole lot about my car yet, but I have been under the impression for a long time now that something with my turbo wasn't right. So finally I made a boost leak tester, and hooked my air compressor up to it... and yes, I have a leak, and although I haven't really had anything to compare it to, to me it sounds like quite a large one. Back at my throttle body in the back by the spring in the picture below.

So my question is, what do I need to replace in order to fix this, and hopefully get the power back to my car that it once had?

your going to need to replace the throttle body shaft seals

TB Shaft Seals VFAQ

NAPA can order them, but they are a little more expensive than from kaman direct. $17 instead of $12. I have order them from both places.

Look into blocking the FIAV while you are in there if you are interested and have had mysterious idle issues in the past.

Replace the BISS oring also. You can get a suitable replacement from ACE hdwe, if you don't want to wait for Mitsu to order one.

Ninja edit: ^^^ Beat me to it.

awesome, thank you guys for the quick replies! I will get right on that.

Out of curiosity, would this leak cause a decent hit to my performance?

any boost leak will cause a definate decrease in performance as not all the air that is metered is entering the engine.
