My car started driving like crap after i got off the highway. i wasnt driving hard or anything, just cruising. at stop lights it would almost stall and at idle my BG read 0psi. it seemed harder to drive it also.

i posted the problem on here and i was told it was a boost leak. i did my first ever boost leak test today and i couldn't find a leak. im not saying there isnt one i just couldn't find it. the MBC was leaking like hell out of the small hole in the tee. was i suppose to take the MBC off? anyway after messing with it for awhile i started the car. it had a rough idle and the exhaust had white smoke coming out of it. not a huge amount, it looked like an exhaust in cold weather. i revved it up a little and it would almost stall.

any help would be great. thanks

It sounds like a boost leak bad as for white smoke means water/coolant burning do a compression check and get back to us, ive been over this plenty of time with my car.

Sounds like a blown hg to me. White smoke as stated means that coolant is being burned. Coolant in any of the cylinders will cause a rough idle due to misfire and will prevent the engine from running at full potential. My guess is that after a while the engine shuts off and won't start until you let it sit for awhile. Check your oil for coolant and if so then look at replacing the hg. Not too hard at all to do. Did mine in about 2 hours.

There wasn't any smoke until after the BLT. I guess ill try a compression test. I gotta get a tester first. Ill post the numbers when its done.

Might just be condensation in the exhaust, did you spray the IC piping with soapy water?
