boost leak or weak turbo??

alright...the highest boost I can get my t25 to hold is 16psi or so.

the setting is at 19psi but in the higher rpms the boost falls off to about 16psi and holds there.

do I havea boost leak or can the t25 just not keep up......

aftermarket head and intake mani by the way....

yes its normal, i have intake and 3" exhaust, stock boost settings, and i peak at 15 and fall to 12. time to get a bigger turbo.

u know whats funny? they make an even smaller turbo than the T-25 its like a T-20 or something...could u imagine!! WOW!!! spool at like 1500 then boost drop at like 3500 or 4000. :laugh: :thumbdown

That's what I thought...but I wanted to make sure.

yesterday this dude rode in my car (owns a turbo'd celica) and he said that my boost falls off cause ofa leak.

I pretty much new he was a jackass...he doesn't even know stuff about his OWN car.

Hey, at least the T25 flows 325CFM...

You could put on a 9B, and get a whopping 265CFM....
