I have a quick question for everyone. I built a boost leak tester and found I had injector seal leaks on all 4 lower seals and throttle body and a few other places and replaced all clamps with tbolt ones. I was runnig right around 10-11 psi before I replaced all seals including the intake seal. I put everything back on and tried to make sure nothing was turned or anything since I had to disconnect the wastegate from the turbo to fit on the tester. I had to move the MBC as well but never turned anything. Now I am running 16lbs. It is a 20g turbo on the car as well. My question would be would the leaks be so bad that it would only spool to 10 and now since fixed 16?

The other question I have is how do you monitor EGT values. Can you do it thru dsmlink or do I need a gauge as well?

If you had enough leaks before your gauge its very well possible that it was always at 16# but the pressure was lost through leaks.

EGT while good for specific applications, you would get more useful information from a good wideband like the Innovate MXT-L.

I have a Aem WB but I am new to tuning my car and I always see people talking about EGT, knock, and A/F

EGT is really needed for High horsepower applications. The WB will be more than enough to use for tuning purposes and fuel/air mixture. Too lean/Too Rich = Too hot.
