Symptoms: Driving car normal, here a kind of pop, not loud bang, almost like an air line coming off. The car almost dies. It sounds like a go cart, ta ta ta ta ta sounds. Its especially louder whenenever it would start to hit boost, but since it hits boost at 1500-2000, it is almost impossible to drive. No power. If I keep the rpms downs to about 900, it drives but not too well. I had a boost leak, that got pretty bad last week, Since then I've drivin the car easy.

Did the boost leak finally blow my 123,000 mile T25?

The last upgrade I did was an AFPR, well I had troubles with the vacuum line. Could the AFPR have run to rich or lean and fried my engine?

I let me car sit for 10 minutes, and it ran a little better until I boosted and then it died again.

Also, when the car died, the stock boost gauge showed pressure, where before it worked normally. The prolite boost gauge showed no psi

You know, my intercooler coupler is where the leak was, but this problem seems even worse then a boost leak. Would the car not idle at all with just a boost leak?

Ok, so I went out there and took the coupler off. The hose clamp on the 2" side had come really loose. I took some electric tape and wrapped and the slit (crac) in the couple a couple times. Put it back on and it runs like normal. I didnt booost yet, and if i did i know the electric tape wouldnt hold.

I have a coupler on its way from tokyo, its amazing how hard it is to find a 2" to 2.5 inch coupler. I ordered it last monday so it should be here soon.

If i went over the coupler with reinforced clear duct tape, do you tihnk it it would hold for a while?
