Well I finally get to do my exhaust verry soon.... so i needed to make sure of one thing..
I dont plan on upgrading my turbo bigger then a B16G, but...never know i guess haha. Right now its my ported 14b. I dont know what size exhaust to spring for. I was told 3" by a friend, but he said he's not sure about boost creep. So i was thinking, instead of buying 2 exhausts, one now, and one when i get a larger turbo, could i get a 3" catback, and use a 2.5" downpipe temporarily, and would that be enough to hold off boost creep? That way i can sell my DP and get a full 3" DP and not have to spend a lot of $ once i get a big turbo, cause i will be driving the 14b around for awhile yet. I dont mind about the ineffeciency of having a 2.5" to cat to 3" exhaust, but just want to know if anyone thinks it will not creep badly. I have a ported O2 housing i will put on too, supposedly will help i believe. Thanks guys
