whats up everyone I am new to the forum but have been in the dsm game for about 8 months now. I had a turbo xs boost controller on my car and just got a hallman pro boost controller. My boost was always at 20lbs and when I put the hallman on i made sure it was all the way down but it is still hitting 20 lbs of boost. Why could this be?

nope... thats awesome actually. you might think about updating your profile mod list... im trying to figure out what turbo your running/wastegate setup (internal or external) to further help and theres nothing in there. if your running an external you might have a 20psi/1.4 bar (big blue/small red) spring in there and you can't boost less than that... if your running of an internal wastegate say on a tdo5 setup (14b/16g) you could be "creeping" to 20psi? whatever it is id say remove the mbc and connect the boost source to the wastegate and see what your boosting then...

and PLEASE update your profile.

let me just make sure that i didnt put the wrong one to the wastegate haha.and on any manual the same one goes to the wastegate right?

follow the pic i posted but instead of the boost source being at the IC pipe its on your turbos compressor housing. read my previous post as well, i added alittle more to it.

Corey's pic is all you need. The side-port goes to the wastegate and the top one to a boost-source. The 1gs have a nipple on the stock j-pipe, so I hope you used that. Like I said, turning the knob to the right (closing it) is going to raise boost. So you're turning it the wrong way.
