I need help on turning up my boost, I have made MBC following the directions on this website "the home-depot style one", but I can only still run about 4-5 psi. I have a T3 .42/.48 turbo. I have unplugged the hose that I used to have on the wastegate and ran it like that(with nothing on it to send no signal), and the most I have ran was anywhere between 6-7 psi at about 6500 rpms. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can turn the boost up to 8psi. I have also plugged the hole on the side of the turbo housing to prevent leaks from there. thanks for your help and your time.

Is it alright to ride with no hose hooked up to the wastgate actuator. I thought if you unplug it it should go higher than 6-7 psi, I am I right? (no signal going to the wastegate to open it up). Could it be that I have a faulty actuator for it to open up at 6-7 PSI with no signal. I thought maybe a T3 was good up to like 14-18 PSI, or something like that not 6-7. Thnaks again for ya'll help
