Boost at launch

ive hear of buys building boost while free reving before a launch, i forgot what they had to do to do this, can anyone tell me what it was? i know it was wiring something so the engine didnt pull timing while at a free rev (no load). thanks guys.

Stutterbox will do it for ya. Only other good way I know it to tap the gas repeatedly really fast. On an auto, it's a no brainer. Just power brake it.

You're thinking of anti-lag.

Yeah, would be better off with a stutterbox since antilag can destroy turbos if not careful because there's a combustion within the turbine housing. But I was thinking it would pull timing for anti-lag. I could be wrong though.
