bogging when driving

ok so when i start to drive as in when i start to take off, and it is in every gear,
my talon will feel like it is bogging before it starts boosting and once it starts boosting it pulls really good. but then i shift gears and it does it all over again, and then when i come to a stop, and push in the clutch it starts to die out

i have looked in the other threads on this issue and ppl are saying to change the plugs and wires, which is a good idea but i also do not have my bov recurculated and was wondering if that could be the problem

the car has a sfac2 on it and i dont know how to use it i just got the car and it was already on there and the bov was not recurculated before either and ran really strong but i changed the stock soft upper intake ic piping out with hard piping and changed the bov from a turbo xs to a ssqv!

the car has been really rough ever since, i really want to know how to get it running strong and normal again LOL
 
Ok I had a familiar problem with that as well. I had a 97 Talon TSI AWD and it had an AFC on it and all it would do was bogg ok check to make sure there are no boost leaks for one that will make your car bogg, and second on the AFC make sure its set for sensor type KARMAN. if not set on KARMAN it will run like crap...
 
also on my ic piping i have about 3 couplings between the ic and the tb, what is your guys take on that does it have to be welded or are coupling ok? but thanks on the afc cause i dont know how to use it. i will try it when i get back ks and keep postin on the issue till it is good.
 
my car was doing the same thing and it was leaking boost from the downpipe because of a blown downpipe gasket, then it got worse one day and i was assuming it was a turbo seal, and then a few days ago the car started to bog down really bad and wasnt building more than 5psi and then the oil pressure started to drop and the car was down on power so i shut it off and got it towed home, now it wont restart.

im thinking itll be okay if i rebuild/replace the turbo and put the new downppe gasket in

am i right? or is it worse than that?
 
that is crazy! i also fount that one of the studs, for the turbo to manifold, the bold is broken off the top back left, but i have a new turbo manifold and turbo, so that is going to be changed to, and i am also going to have a new down pipe and exhaust put on as well, but i am sure i have plenty boost leaks going through the system! lots of work to do will keep you guys all posted on the progress!:|
 
car is running better, now did all the sensor and recurculating the bov, idles great and pulls good, still getting to hot so i am taking it to the dealership to have them fix the power steering and a/c and possibley but hopefully not the head gasket, i want to drive my car i have had it for over a month and all i have put on it is like 50 miles LOL, i need it to be running right so i can drive it
