Body Work on 1GB Side Trim

My side door and fender trim panels which also make up the side skirts, are weird... warped if you will. Where the studs are to hold them into the door, pokes out... How can I fix this? Such as, how can I get them warped back to straight before I repaint my car?

Use a heat gun and bend it. Make sure you hold it in place for a while too and it should work.

+1 on what he said, i'd say get a vise or something to hold it in place, (put a towel on the vice or something to not damage the skirt) My autobody teacher taught us the same way if you don't have a heat gun you can try a hairdryer.

interesting, my side door molding on my 1ga looks like a piece of bacon ( came with the car that way, currently uninstalled of course ). ill give this a try before searching for a replacement!
