Blue oil smoke at idle ONLY

Well, got the knock sensor changed today (what an adventure) and killed the CEL and runs better, but unfortunately it smokes like a train at idle, though it doesn't if you rev it up or when driving down the road. The smoke is blue. thecar just got back to me 2 weeks ago and was doing this when I got it, but not as bad. It had rings replaced and new valves/head put on plus a new timing belt. My buddy said he thinks they either didn't get a valve seal on good or cracked a ring putting it back together. This sound right guys?

Shitty part is I know even though I paid them 700 dollars they'll not want to fix this! Any lawyers on the board who'd make a call for me if they refuse to fix it?

well.. yeah it sounds like either the Rings weren't put on back right.. or it broke or somthing like that .. All i know from reading your post is Oil is being leaked i'd look at the Rings/valves myself and see whats up ...

Funny thing is, I got the car back 3 weeks ago, checked oil then, showed about .25 to 1/2 quart low (I know, I need to add some oil, keep forgetting though) and I checked it tonight at it's at the same place? Shouldn't it have burnt some oil???

I thought white smoke was oil,blue was coolant,and black was fuel. Also just fyi if it only smokes at idle then it might be your rear oil seal on your turbo. When it goes out it will only smoke at idle and not anyother time.
