blown motor?

So i bought a 6 bolt motor from osaka motors.com and i swapped it into my 2g gsx. When i was trying to start it yesterday and i couldnt get it to fire. When i pulled out my spark plugs i noticed that there was oil where the plug goes. You can see it on the piston. Im thinking its probably a blown piston ring. What do u guys think

Chances are they could have tipped the motor over on it's side at one point. I would pull all the plugs and spin the motor over to try and get most of the oil out.
Put new plugs in it and see if it will run then.

Another reason for oil around you spark plugs would be a bad valve cover gasket. Just another thing for you to check!

Speaking of valve cover I need to redo mine. Hahaha, I didnt redo the little half circle wedge on the head.

agreed pull the spark plugs out and turn the engine over to blow all that oil out of there... you don't wanna take a chance of hydro locking your engine

also liquid in cylinders has a potential chance of bending rods and i know you don't want that

I'd say replace the valve cover and spark plugs, doesn't sound like a piston because I blew my piston and my whole car was shaking like crazy.

Did you bought the engine new and did it came with warranty? Also turn your motor so you can get that oil out of those pistons and buy new spark plugs if that dont do it have them check the motor.
