well last night my motor blew the rod went through the back of the block. so now i'm selling this junk heap when i put a motor in it. Ive had nothing but problems with my experience with dsms and i will never own another. I don't think i can do this but my question is will a 1g n/t 2.0 work with my 95 gsx? If not why won't it? alright thanks guys.

Yikes, a 1g NT in a 2G gsx.. That probably hasn't been done(or at least not reported) haha. I believe the mounts will work since you can swap in a turbo 1g, the NT is the same. I bet you could make it work, but if your trying to sell it, you'd get A LOT more money out of it if you dropped in a turbo motor that could utilize your AWD..
I'm sorry to hear about your troubles with DSMs, or in your case just a TEL. You kind of have to know what your getting into and have a love for it with them though.
FYI you can get a brand new rebuilt long block for 1150(for 6 bolt) i think the 7bolt was a little more. If you have the money, a brand new 6 bolt swap in a 95 GSX, would sell for some good money...
Good luck!

well realistically i only need the bottom end.. block, crank pistons, if i use the 1g block and put the 2g head, cams and everything else on it how would that be?

i can't cause it's not my vehicle. My fathers boss has a junkyard and the vehicle is wrecked but he offered to give me the motor if i could use it. Where are you finding motors for 1500?

just for the shortblock, I bet chris could get you a new rebuilt for 600-700 or something. I'll email him and ask. You could get a used for probably a couple hundred less. Or yours rebuilt for around the same price..

Alright i appritiate it. i'd settle for a short block and just swap my top end over to the block. Let me know thanks alot man.. also i can't get mine rebuilt because the rod went through the block.. it's too bad it didn't just go through the pan so i could have rebuilt it myself.
