Pembroke Pines,
 The other night i was eating a civic for dinner and at about 130 mph I har and felt a snap, I blew out my dirve shafts, rear diff and axles, center diff, and shot the driveshaft into the floor pan. I was wondering if I could use the parts off a 1g awd auto diffs, driveshafts, and rear end to fix my dead awd 5 speed 1g?? Unless someone has a 1g 4 bolt rear, 7bolt parts car??

You GOTTA give us some pix of this!

The auto tranny rear diffs have a different gear ratio than the manual tranny rear diffs. The axles and driveshaft should swap over.

How did it happen? Did the T-case lock up or something? Driveshaft out of balance?

hmm, the drive shafts CAME balanced. ur lucky you didnt die. brakin a drive shaft at 130 mph could have catipulted you into a wall. but blowing out all 4 axles, rear diff, and blew out drive shaft. Im sure ur Trans is going to be screwd also, cause im more then sure that ur T-case locked up.

The trans isn't blown thank god, and the only reason i didn't drift inot a wall is for one I was on a 30 mile straightraway and second becasu of sheer luck, thanks for the info and I thank god I am still able to be here, this is the second time I have escaped death in a car. :shhh: But away from that, The front axles are still intact and good, the rear axles is fine but the rear diff is gone, the viscous is gone, and the driveshafts are definatly gone.
