Hey guys I have been searching for quite some time and can't seem to find an answer for probably a really obvious question. But I am working 2 full time jobs this summer so I can save up for a 420a engine from Howell Automotive.
I just wanted to know what the difference was between an engine with the core and without, because on the website it says they both come with the same parts on them, but without the core is more expensive.
This will be my first engine project, I will be buying this one and then once the one I have in my car dies, I will swap and begin to rebuild the other slowly. I will be adding a turbo onto the one from Howell Automotive, and hopefully boosting 8psi+ with the internals it comes with. I know my stock engine with 125k+ miles on it wouldn't be able to handle anything more then 3-5psi. So I can't wait until the end of this summer
