I just purchased a 91 GSX and it already has a manual boost controller but he gave me a Blitz Dual-SBC Spec S boost controller but the instructions with it suck. I was wondering if anyone knows how to install it or if I should just stay with the manual controller? Thanks in advance!!

I have the Blitz Spec S boost controller and love it. The install is very straight forwards.

Install the solenoid in your engine compartment. (run the middle nipple on the solenoid to your actuator, and the lower one that comes out from the bottom of the solenoid to the compressor housing or boost source). Then connect the wiring from the solenoid to the controller. Connect a boost source to the boost controller itself and that’s it. It may be hard to understand what I just wrote, but if you need more help or pic’s just let me know.

So I can pretty much hook up the two lines to the same places that the manual boost contoller is hooked up to right?

Also what do you recommend setting the warning and limiter at if your running approximately 15.5 psi, if I should run it at all?

1.00 hkPa= 14.50 psi

and if you feel that you need a warning for over boost set it...when i had my t28 killer set up i ran a warning at 22lbs when i was running 20 lbs nice to know when my turbo would creep. :thumb:

Thanks for the info. I am new to turbo eclipse, I had a 93 Talon NT, this is my first turbo.

I just installed the boost controller and I don't think it's working. I set the initial boost to 10 and the gain to 10 like it recommends and I hit a peak of 1.43 and hit fuel cut. I should not have got that high. What am I doing wrong?

I think the solenoid is bad or maybe the wiring to it. Is there anyway to check it or can you buy a replacement? Maybe I will just buy one brand new since this one came with the car.

Did you try contacting a blitz distrubator to see if they can get it...i tryed to find my box and papers but couldnt find them seems to me that you can order parts but i need to find my box for that information... ;)
