95 gsx 5 speed stock. Ok car does not seem to lose any power at all. no adverse affects whatsoever, just the smoke. under normal driving conditions its fine, no smoke. If I get into the car really hard, it barrels out black/greyish smoke, a constant flow until I let out of it. Like I said no adverse affects to performance of the car, just want to know what to check so my eclipse doesnt resemble a Cummins when I get on it.

You may have a bad seal in the turbo. My TSi kinda does the same thing and i know its from fully spooling the turbo with a worn seal. Do you notice your engine losing a little bit of oil?

black/grey smoke... you would be running rich.

Are you sure everything is stock? Fuel pump, fuel injectors?

Your profile doesn't really say anything, so assuming your stock it could be leak.I would start with a blt, because if your running stock and it's coming out rich with black smokes could have a leak. Possibly check your turbo too, make sure no shaft play or oil in your intake.

As everyone has said, thats typically fuel & depending on how much it could be normal, even if the cars stock. Turbo cars run richer then NA cars from the factory so under WOT its common for some black smoke. If the car has mods to it, the amount of smoke could be more or less, depending on the tune.
